Vestas signs two deals in Northern Europe

DENMARK/FINLAND: Vestas has been awarded two turbine deals, in Denmark and Finland, totalling 72MW.

Vestas will manufacture its V112 3.3MW turbine for the Ost for Vemb project in Denmark

In its native Denmark, Vestas has won a deal with Skovgaard Invest to supply its V112-3.3MW turbine.

The manufacturer will deliver 12 turbines to the 39MW Ost for Vemb project in northwest Denmark. Vestas will service the turbines for 15 years.

In Finland, developer Suomen Hyotytuuli Oy has awarded Vestas a 33MW deal for the Nik-karinkaarto project in Raahe, west Finland.

Vestas will supply ten V126-3.3MW turbines to the project in the first half of next year. The project is expected online by the end of 2016.

The V112 and V126 3.3MW turbines were launched in April 2013.
