The ten turbines are scheduled for delivery in mid-2014, and the facility is set for commissioning towards the end of the same year.
The deal, which includes a 12-year operation and maintenance services agreement, is the second supply agreement between Gamesa and Heritage, with 28MW of turbines already at Heritage's Garden wind farm in Michigan.
Heritage has a power purchase agreement with DTE Energy, under which the latter will buy the power produced by the new wind farm for the next 20 years.
Earlier this year, Gamesa unveiled a 2.5MW version of the G114 turbine at the American Wind Energy Association's annual conference in Chicago. The G114 2MW turbine was launched last year.
