The deal for the low-wind turbines has been struck with Swedish developer Eolus Vind for its 8MW Notasen wind farm near Sundsvall in the east of the country.
Installation of the turbines will begin in the summer. Gamesa will provide operations and maintenance support for a period of five years.
Due to the cold conditions at the site, Gamesa will install a system for detecting and eliminating ice on blades.
This is the second supply agreement between Gamesa and Eolus Vind. The Spanish manufacturer previously installed two 850kW turbines for the company.
The prototype of the G114 was installed in Spain in November, and Gamea has won a number of deals to supply the turbine in the US.
