Gamesa will deliver 30 G114-2MW turbines to three projects in the country this year, all of which are due online in 2016. The contract includes a ten-year service agreement.
Twenty-five of the turbines will be sent to the 50MW Wayu project, one will be delivered to the Subplu1 site and the final four installed at the Subplu2 development.
According to Gamesa, the projects are located in the Nakhon Ratchasima province, central Thailand.
The Spanish firm also announced the deal was its first in Asia for the G114 2MW turbine, having previously been sold in Sweden, Poland, Uruguay, Brazil and the US.
One of Gamesa's biggest orders for the project was a 231MW deal by CPGL Renovaveis for a nine-project complex in Brazil.
Its first ever order for the turbine was placed by Heritage Sustainable Energy for the 20MW Big Turtle wind project in Michigan, US, in September 2013.
