The first order is with Hebei Construction and Investment (HCI) for 25 G97-2MW turbines to be installed at the Senjitu II project in Hebei province.
Gamesa signed a letter of intent to supply the project in September. The turbines are due to be delivered by the end of this year. It is the first part of a 150MW agreement between the companies.
In January, HCI awarded Gamesa a 50MW deal for turbines to go to a project in Shanxi province, northern China. They are expected to be delivered in May.
Fujian Energy has placed the second order for turbines to be installed at the 48MW Dingyanshan wind farm located in the Fujian province. Gamesa will supply and install 24 G97-2MW turbines, utilised for typhoon strength wind speeds. The project is due to be commissioned by the end of 2014.
