The Repower MM92 machines will be used on TRE's Daunia Savignano wind farm in the southern Italian region of Campania, which will have total capacity of 77.9 MW upon completion.
Repower is currently already erecting 20 of its MM92 turbines at the Campania wind farm, expected to be fully commissioned by the first quarter of 2011. Repower is responsible for the supply, erection, installation and commissioning of the turbines.
TRE has a total of 190 MW in Italian wind farms under construction, in addition to its 171 MW in operational wind farms.
The Tozzi Group subsidiary, in which AXA Private Equity owns a 45% stake, plans to have a total 600 MW installed by 2014.
