Giese explained that Senvion was focussing more of its efforts outside of Europe as the market begins to stagnate. 

"We see Europe as a very important market," Giese told “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç TV at the WindEurope event, "but it's coming to a plateau more or less, and we have some markets where it has decreased, like in England and Poland, so we are more aggresive outside Europe."

Giese also explains the importance of the Indian market to Senvion, following the acquisition of assests from Kenersys in August, and the potential of the off-grid market, following a deal in Australia. 

He said Senvion was still able to compete offshore, following the first order of its 6.2M152 turbine at the Trianel Borkum II offshore project in the German North Sea on day one of WindEnergy Hamburg. 

"We are a strong number three in the offshore market," Giese claimed.
