"One of the areas where digitalisation can really reduce the cost of energy is in operations and maintenance," Ruby said at the WindEnergy Hamburg event in Germany.
"By monitoring our operations in a completely new way, we can increase yields dramatically and make sure that we make more money from the same amount of wind resource.
"We've seen examples of businesses basically increasing their yield and profits by 20% through getting digitalisation right," Ruby added.
