Google will buy the power from EDF's 201MW Great Western project in northwest Oklahoma. The project is expected online by the end of 2016.
It is not the first time EDF has agreed a power deal with a corporate brand. In October, it completed a PPA with consumer products firm Proctor and Gamble to buy power from a 123MW wind project in Texas.
EDF also has a PPA with technology firm Microsoft for a wind project in Illinois.
Vestas will supply the turbines to the Great Western project. The site will be powered using 51 Vestas V100 2MW and 30 V117 3.3MW turbines in a deal announced in November.
The technology firm has also signed an agreement with Swedish developer Eolus Energy.
Google agreed to buy all the power from its 76MW project in Jenasen, south Sweden. The project will begin construction next year, with completion in 2018.
According to Eolus, it is the second time the two companies have signed a PPA deal. The first was signed in January 2014 when Google agreed to buy the electricity produced from four projects, also in southern Sweden, for a combined 59MW capacity.
The PPA agreements in Sweden and the US will be used to power Google's data centres.
