The order will see Acciona manufacture 43 3MW AW125/3000 turbines for the project.
Few details are known about the project, but Acciona said the turbine is optimised for medium wind sites. The turbines will be placed on steel towers.
Acciona said the order takes its total sales in Mexico to 988.5MW, with 38% of orders for its 3MW turbine.
In April 2014, Acciona won a 252MW contract to supply its 3MW AW116/3000 turbine to the Ventika and Ventika II projects being developed by Fisterra Energy.
