In a statement, Vestas said the order was conditional and was unable to reveal further details. However, the company has previously sold V112 3MWs in the Ukraine.
The project is one of a series of wind energy projects planned by DTEK in the Ukraine.
At the end of last year DTEK announced its plans to invest €1.85 billion in the construction of two large wind farms, Priazovsky (Zaporozhye region) and Mangush (Donetsk region), by 2018.
Priazovsky is expected to be comprised of three plants, among which are Botievskoy, Primorsky and Berdyansky.
Total capacity of the Priazovsky wind farm will reach 500MW, of which the capacity of Botievskoy - 200MW, while Primorsky and Berdyansky will be 150MW each.
