The two companies have signed a framework agreement to develop offshore wind technology.
This includes the building of fixed and floating foundations, electrical substations, meteorological towers, vessels and platforms for installing foundations.
Additionally, the two companies will work on logistics surveys and capacity analysis of Spain’s ports.
In March, Acciona president José Manuel Entrecanales announced the company was looking to bring in a partner for its wind division.
Ruling out the sale of Acciona’s wind division, Entrecanales said a partner would help the company compete on the global market.
