The deal marks the first order for Vestas to supply turbines to Ningxia and marks the company's second Chinese deal in as many weeks.
Vestas will be supplying 25 of its V90 turbines as well as two years maintenance. They are expected to be delivered in the third quarter of this year.
Speaking about the deal Jens Tommerup, President of Vestas China said: "Building on the efforts we have put into developing a strong base in China over the past few years, we are very pleased to see that companies entering the wind energy business are aware of the quality level of the products and services Vestas can offer.
