Capacity would be allocated based on the lowest tariff offered until the full 2.5GW is assigned – a so-called reverse auction.
Bidders would be competing to secure power purchase agreements (PPAs) with the Solar Energy Corporation (SECI) lasting 25 years from the operational start date of a project.
