SGRE wins 60MW in Greek orders

GREECE: Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) has announced three new turbine orders from two customers in Greece, totalling 60MW.

SGRE will deliver 30 2MW turbines to three projects in Greece

An unnamed independent power producers ordered eight G114-2MW turbines for the Kali Hitsa project in Aetolia-Acamania, southern Greece. 

The same customer also ordered 12 G90-2MW machines for the Litharoserma project also in southern Greece. 

A second unnamed local customer has placed an order for ten 2MW turbines, although a model, project name or location was not specified.

SGRE said the deals were booked in October, with delivery set for the the second half of 2018. 

The manufacturer will also service all three projects for ten years upon completion.
