Siemens
Siemens will supply 141 2.3MW turbines to Pattern Energy's 324MW Broadview Wind project spread across New Mexico and Texas.
Installation is expected to begin later this month, Siemens said, with first power expected by the end of the year.
The 108-metre rotor turbine will include a "power boost" mode to provide additional output in periods of high wind, according to Siemens.
At the end of June, the Broadview project was transferred from Pattern Development to its yieldco subsidiary Pattern Energy.
Gamesa
Also in New Mexico, Gamesa has won a 298MW deal from Avangrid Renewables to supply the El Cabo complex.
Utility Avangrid Renewables was formed and floated on the New York stock exchange in December 2015, following a merger between major Gamesa shareholder Iberdrola and US firm UIL Holding.
A total of 142 G114-2.1MW turbines will be installed across the project cluster. Installation is expected to begin in March 2017, with first power due three months later.
Gamesa said it was one of its largest US orders to date.
The two manufacturers agreed a merger deal in June following months of negotiations to form what is set to become the world's largest manufacturer.
