This is the second European purchase by Envision, and is expected to make series of investments across Europe and the Americas. In November 2015, the Chinese company acquired a 25MW project in Sweden where it plans to demonstrate its turbines to the European market.
BazeField will continue to operate individually following the acquisition, said the Norwegian firm. Its clients include project operators Arise, OX2, Natural Power, 3E and Statoil.
The BazeField Wind project management system monitors each turbine in real time to support the operations and maintenance services at wind projects.
"With Bazefield operating independently, customers will have more choice and BazeField will have the autonomy it needs to continue its development efforts," said Envision executive director Felix Zhang.
"The acquisition will provide the resources and support for BazeField to further develop its state-of-the-art technology, and provide better products and services to its global clients," Zhang added.
BazeField CEO Sigurd Juvik said: "The companies have a similar vision for smart energy technology and the partnership offers us the resources and industry insights that will accelerate our product development and entry into new market regions."
Envision is working towards becoming a major player in the European wind energy sector, as its domestic market slows.
