Inox wins deal for 70MW Adani wind debuts

INDIA: Domestic turbine supplier Inox Wind has been awarded a 70MW deal from Adani Green Energy, for its first wind projects.

Adani Green Energy is part of Indian infrastructure conglomerate the Adani Group.

As part of the turnkey contract, Inox Wind will be responsible for installing a 50MW project in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, south-east India and the 20MW Lahori project in Madhya Pradesh, central India.

Inox will deliver 35 2MW turbines across the two sites and service the turbines for "a multi-year period" it said.

Adani operates a number of thermal power plants and a solar plant in India.
