GE's new 3.2MW turbine will have a 130-metre rotor and will be the company's first 3MW-platform available in Germany.
The low- to medium-wind turbine will be available in four different hub heights, the manufacturer confirmed, ranging from 85 to 155-metres.
GE said yields could be 20% higher compared to its 2.75MW, 120-metre rotor turbine.
In October 2013, GE unveiled a 3.2MW turbine with a 103-metre diameter rotor, targeted at UK, Irish and Turkish markets.
The firm said the new larger rotor turbine had been designed for the German market and will be available from the second half of 2016.
GE is the fourth manufacturer to reveal a new low-wind turbine at the Husum Wind 2015 event after Vestas' V136-3.45MW, the Nordex N131/3300 and the Senvion 3.4M140.
