Nordex wins 27MW deal in France

FRANCE: Nordex has won a 27MW deal for nine N117/3000 turbines to go to a project in northern France.

The project will use Nordex's Delta turbine

The Onze Muids project is located in Picardy, near Hauteville. The deal comes with a 15-year service contract.

The project will come online by early 2016, Nordex said.

According to “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç data division, “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç Intelligence, German developer Steag New Energies has around 30MW in development in France, with projects including the 10MW Guégon and 18MW Lanouée projects. Both will use Senvion turbines.

Nordex chief sales officer Lars Bondo Krogsgaard said Nordex had installed 1.33GW in France.
