Nordex sells French site

FRANCE: Nordex has sold its 12.5MW Mont d'Erny project to private-equity joint venture Rive Private Investment but will supply five turbines to the site.

The N100 Nordex 2.5MW turbine will be installed at the site in northern France

The project is located in northern France and had been progressed by Nordex's project development arm in collaboration with French firm Maia Eolis.

Nordex will supply five N100 2.5MW turbines to the project from early 2017 and service the site for 15 years.

The German manufacturer said its development unit has produced 60 wind projects in Europe and the US, totalling more than 800MW.

Rive Private Investment is a renewable energy-focused joint venture between two French private-equity firms, 123Venture and Elyseum Investment.

The JV has invested in more than 140 renewable energy projects, totalling 420MW, Nordex said.
