Turkish developer Sancak Enerji hands Nordex 52MW deal

TURKEY: Nordex has won a 52MW deal for its 22 N117/2400 low wind turbines to go to a project in Turkey.

The Yahyali project is located in central Anatolia. The deal comes with a five-year service contract.

Nordex said the project will come online by the end of 2015.

According to “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç's data division, “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç Intelligence, Turkish developer Sancak Enerji has around 60MW in the pipeline in its home market, with projects including 30MW Yamaçtepe-2 RES project in Marmara. Nordex has installed around 1GW in Turkey.

Nordex said it had also received an order from Turskish developer Dost Enerji, with one N90/2500 turbine to go to the Geres wind farm in western Anatolia.
