Reef Subsea will send its Reef Despina construction support vessel to the project located 110 kilometres off the north German coast.
The contract runs from early October until February 2015 with the possibility to extend further. It is Reef Subsea's first contract in German waters, the company said.
Reef Despina has been deployed in the offshore oil and gas sector so far this year. This contract will mean the vessel has been in constant use throughout 2014.
Turbine installation at the project, which is using 80 Areva 5MW turbines, was after a minor delay. The project is majority owned by Statdwerke Munchen amd HSE.
