The company has acquired the 12MW Rehfeld development, using 1.5MW Micon turbines, and 24MW Gollitz-West using Vestas V112 3MW machines. The developments came online in 2004 and 2013 respectively and are located in Brandenburg state, east Germany.

Both projects are located near the 11MW Proschim wind farm, which was acquired by Allianz at the end of January.

Allianz said all three acquisitions were part of the EUR 150 million Allianz Renewable Energy Fund. TUV SUD acted as technical advisor on the acquisitions while the deal was financed by Commerzbank.
