The Los Vientos III and Los Vientos IV wind farms, which will feature 200 of Vestas' V110 2MW turbine, are expected to be put into construction in the first half of next year and to be commissioned in 2015 and 2016.
Vestas' factories in Colorado will manufacture the blades, nacelles and towers for these projects. The deal includes a three-year service agreement including remote monitoring to identify any faults.
