Repower is supplying 24 MM92 2MW turbines to four projects of 12MW each. It has also been handed a ten-year maintenance contract for the wind farms.

The first came online at Airaines, in the Somme department, in May. These will be followed in the autumn by the Pays de Retz Sud facility in the Loire-Atlantique.

The last 12 turbines will be installed at Venoy and Courgis, in the Yonne department, early 2014, for commissioning in the spring.

French company Francéole is supplying the steel towers, while Valréa, a subsidiary of Valorem, is overseeing the civil and electrical engineering.

Valorem had previously chosen Repower to supply 21 turbines to its projects in eastern France.
