The company was contradicting a report in German business newspaper Handelsblatt that Enercon "is already thinking about building a works in southern Germany".
However, an Enercon spokesman said: "There are currently no firm plans at Enercon to build a factory in southern Germany.
"We continuously monitor the market place to consider whether and where it would make sense to build a new works and regularly make big investments in our home market, running to 3 digit millions Euros sums per year."
In 2012, blade factories were opened in Haren and Aurich, which are steadily ramping up production, as well as a service and logistic centre in Gotha, which is to be expanded.
Whether a new factory is built depends on factors that include whether expensive transport and logistic costs can be avoided by building factories for large components in the region where turbine sales are strong, the Enercon spokesman explained.
