The manufacturer will supply 13 N90/2500 turbines and 10 N100/2500 turbines for phase two of the Midtfjellet wind farm, being developed by project company Midtfjellet Vindkraft.
The project company is owned by Østfold Energi, EB Kraftproduksjon, Fitjar Kraftlag and Vardar.
The combined 110 MW Midtfjellet wind farm will become one of the largest wind projects in recent years in Norway. Civil works are currently in the finishing stages with wind turbine deliveries starting mid July 2012 for phase 1, which compromise 21 N90/2,500 turbines.
Deliveries for the 23 phase two turbines will start mid-March 2013. Both phases' agreements include five-year premium service contracts with option for a further ten years.
