Fifteen and eight Repower MM92 2.05MW turbines will go to the La Bretelle and Echalot projects respectively. Commissioning is expected by late 2012.

Speaking about the deal, Jean-François Innocenti, director for construction of La Compagnie du Vent, said: "These two wind farms represent the most important project that our company has ever built in France.

"At the end of 2012 La Compagnie du Vent will almost operate 300MW of wind-energy capacity, of which 80MW use Repower turbines."
