The project is being developed by a Vattenfall-led consortium in Aberdeen Bay to test next generation wind turbines. Trump is opposed to the project as he believes they will spoil the view from a golf course he is building nearby.
In a letter to Scottish first minister Alex Salmond, Trump said his £750 million development, which also includes houses and a luxury hotel, is threatened by the wind farm.
In the letter, Trump described the wind farm as a "useless eyesore" and said the 11-turbine project would be "disastrous and environmentally irresponsible".
Coincidentally, Trump's plans have faced opposition from local residents who believe his development will harm the environment.
In August, George Sorial, managing director of the Trump Organisation, said the company would use "any legal means at its disposal" to halt the project. Trump plans to open the golf course at the 500 hectare estate next July.
In response, Vattenfall has said it hopes to for an amicable solution that will allow both developments to operate side by side.
The project is owned by Aberdeen Offshore Wind Ltd, a company owned 75% by Vattenfall and 25% by Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG). The wind farm will be located 1.5 miles from the coast.
