Infigen acquires four Australian projects

AUSTRALIA: Infigen Energy has acquired four wind farms with a combined capacity of 810MW from developer National Power Partners (NPP).

The ownership of the four projects, which are all in development, was previously split 50/50 between the two companies.

The projects are:

  • Flyers Creek, New South Wales – 120MW
  • Bodangora, New Sales Wales – 70-100MW
  • Cherry Tree, Victoria – 35-50MW
  • Woakwine, South Australia – 450-540MW

As part of the deal, NPP will acquire Infigen’s interest in the 54MW Glen Innes project in New South Wales and 100MW of other projects that the two companies were developing jointly.

Infigen and NPP will continue to hold a 32% interest each in the Walkaway 2 and 3 wind farm development projects in Western Australia which total 394MW.
