Hong Kong-based CLP already has over 450MW of wind power in the Indian states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
Its most recent deal in India was for 40MW from Vestas in August, for a wind farm in Karnataka, southern India. The order comprises 24 V82-1.65MW turbines and a 10-year service agreement.
EIL is currently in dispute with Enercon over the ownership of the design patents, including those for the E-53.
