Utilities pair up to develop gorge line
UNITED STATES - Oregon's two largest investor-owned utilities, Portland General Electric and PacifiCorp, have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop a transmission line intended to accommodate renewable energy development in the wind-rich Columbia River Gorge.
