Nordex is to supply eight N80/2500 turbines for the Screggagh wind farm in Country Tyrone. The project is DW's first in the province to go to construction.
DW has four projects in totaling 50MW with planning permission in Northern Ireland and another eight totaling 100MW awaiting approval.
According to “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç's Market Status Report for the UK, Northern Ireland achieved a 9.5% boost in installed wind power for 2009.
