Nutek appoints a new wind power consultant

After a one year delay the Swedish national board for industrial and technical development, Nutek, has appointed a new wind power consultant. This position, previously shared by two members of the Swedish wind association, has been unoccupied since 1992 because of funding cuts. However, in January Nutek announced the part-time appointment of Gunnar Grusell, a retired engineer from utility Vattenfall. He has a history in megawatt turbine R&D, but is expected to draw on the resources of the Swedish wind association for advice on how to go about project development and financing of medium scale wind turbines.
