Officials from the Republic of Armenia toured wind and other renewables sites in California several weeks ago with the backing of the California Energy Commission. The visitors, including deputy energy minister Garen Galustian, visited FloWind Corp's wind farm and several others in a tour to introduce California industry to the new republic's government. "This is to show and encourage companies to pursue business opportunities in Armenia," the commission's Ruben Tavares told the Tracy Press.
