Spanish division of GE Wind opens second facility
The Spanish division of GE Wind has opened an operation and maintenance (O&M) centre in Calahorra, La Rioja. It is GE Wind's second facility in Spain and constitutes the company's logistic centre for the north of the country. Until now, all GE Wind O&M services have been supplied from the its Noblejas turbine assembly facility in the central province of Toledo. Of the 276 MW of GE wind technology turning in Spain, nearly 200 MW is in the north, mainly in La Rioja and Navarra.
