Nordex to supply turbines for 190MW wind farm in Poland

Nordex Group has received an order for the supply and installation of turbines for the Miejska Górka wind farm in Poland.

The company will initially supply 41 N117/3600 turbines totalling 147.6 MW, with deliveries starting from the end of 2025.

An additional expansion will see Nordex supply a further 12 wind turbines to take the wind farm, located in the Greater Poland province, to 190.8MW

The order includes a premium service contract for the turbines over a period of 30 years.

The turbines will be supplied on tubular steel towers with hub heights of 134 metres.

The project is one of the biggest wind farms in the Poland and is scheduled to go into operation in early 2027.

It was developed by Germany’s VSB, which has sold the wind farm to Polish energy company Tauron Zielona Energia.

VSB is responsible for the infrastructure work, which is due to begin in 2025, as well as for the 12-turbine expansion of the wind farm.
