Danish wind manufacturer Vestas has received a 31MW order from Spanish oil and gas major Repsol for the Stev wind farm in Aragón.
The deal comprises the supply and installation of five V162-6.2 MW turbines – the first Spanish order for the V162-6.2 MW EnVentus turbines.
Once installed, the turbines will become the most powerful in Spain. Delivery is expected to start in the second quarter of 2024, with commissioning planned for the fourth quarter.
Stev forms part of Repsol’s 860MW Delta II development, which will comprise 26 wind farms in total, in Zaragoza, Huesca and Teruel.
