Siemens Gamesa has secured a deal to supply 14 SG 5.0-145 turbines to Acen Corporation's 70MW Capa wind farm, one of the projects awarded in the country’s first round of renewable energy auctions.
The project is located in Caparispisan, Ilocos Norte province, and is expected to be completed and start operations by the first quarter of 2024.
Siemens Gamesa will also provide five years of operation and maintenance services for the wind project.
Last year, the company signed a supply deal with Acen for the Philippines' largest wind project, the 160 MW Pagudpud wind farm in Balaoi & Caunayan.
