RenewableUK has appointed Jane Cooper as its first Director of Offshore Wind. Cooper is currently Director of Regulatory and External Affairs at Ørsted and will take up the position at RenewableUK in September.
She will lead a team delivering the industry’s Sector Deal and wider Offshore Wind Industry Council (OWIC) programme.
Cooper was closely involved in the development of the Offshore Wind Sector Deal agreed with the UK Government in 2019, and is currently serving on the Government’s Green Skills Delivery Group and the ECITB Board.
