Vestas wins 50MW UK onshore order

Vestas lands a 50MW order from wind energy operator ERG for the Sandy Knowe wind project in Scotland

The project in听Dumfries & Galloway will feature 14 V112-3.45 MW turbines in 3.6MW power optimised mode.

The contract for 86.4MW Sandy Knowe , includes supply, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines alongside a 20-year service agreement.

Turbine deliveries are expected in Q3 2021, with commissioning due in Q4 next year.
