In total, 35 projects with a combined capacity of 749.3MW secured power deals.
The average successful price of 鈧62.90/MWh was down 5.4% from the country鈥檚 last auction round, and marginally below the previous record low of 鈧63/MWh.

France鈥檚 ecology ministry had initially planned to award power deals to 630MW of wind capacity, but increased this allocation 鈥渋n view of the very competitive prices which were presented鈥.
The country鈥檚 first three onshore wind tenders were undersubscribed with potential developers facing permitting roadblocks.听
However, France鈥檚 last two rounds have since been oversubscribed.
Covid-19
Earlier this week, the government adjusted its timetable for the country鈥檚 next onshore wind auction to help the regulator and bidders amid the ongoing聽coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Developers were initially due to submit bids for the full 750MW allocation on 1 July, but will now compete for 250MW in July, before bidding for 500MW in November.
Onshore wind and solar PV developers will also be given extensions to installation schedules so they are not penalised for delays caused by the pandemic.
