SGRE will deliver 56 3.4MW turbines to the site, each with a 132-metre rotor diameter. The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract also includes a 25-year service deal.
The site near Starwell, Victoria, will also comprise a 20MW/34MWh lithium-ion battery component supplied by US technology firm Tesla.
Construction is due to begin immediately, with commissioning expected in August 2019, SGRE said. Neoen completed financing for the project last month.
SGRE and Neoen previously worked together on the 315MW Hornsdale wind complex in South Austrlia, one phase of which is also supported by a Tesla battery system.
Power from the project has been purchased by goods producer Nectar Farms, which will use LED lights in its new glasshouse facility to grow vegetables. Any power not used by Nectar Farms will be sold to the state government.
Financing for the project was supported by the German KfW Ipex-Bank, France's Société Générale and the Korean Development Bank, while the Victorian government has also supported the site under its renewable energy target scheme.
Neoen acquired the Bulgana project in January 2017.
