Greensolver and Infinergy form UK JV

UK: Developer Infinergy and French project adviser Greensolver have formed a joint venture in the UK.

Greensolver expands its UK business with Infinergy joint venture

Greensolver UK will provide technical and commercial management services to project operators in the UK wind and solar markets.

"It was... important for us to keep our technical advisory services offer independent, hence this joint venture only concerns technical and commercial management of operational assets," said Greensolver CEO Guy Auger.

"Technical due diligence, construction project management and advisory services will continue to be performed by the Greensolver team independently," Auger added.

Esbjorn Wilmar, CEO of Infinergy, said: "As a developer, it was very important for us to build up our knowledge of the operational side of things in order to develop new projects better.

Last month, Wilmar, along with CFO Tjiwolt Wierda, acquired Infinergy from its Dutch owners Koop Group.

The developer owns a portfolio of around 500MW in the UK, having sold more capacity to third-party investors.
