The developer's US subsidiary, Eolus North America, entered into the deal with ZCF Wind Wall. It has bought a stake in the Wind Wall Development company, which owns a 40MW site.
Along with the deal, Eolus announced it had placed an order with Vestas for the supply of turbines to the site.
The deal is additional to the flurry of US orders announced by the manufacturer last week.
"The order secures our ability to capture the full value of the PTC leading to reduced electricity rates for American rate payers. It is also an important step into establishing Eolus in the market, providing added benefit to our current and future investor base that is trusting and collaborating with us," said Eolus' US country manager Hans-Christian Schulz.
In December 2015, Eolus acquired two wind projects in Nevada, with a combined 220MW installed capacity.
