Nordex wins Northern Irish supply deal

UK: Nordex has won a 47.5MW turbine supply deal from TCI Renewables to supply 19 turbines to a project in Northern Ireland.

Nordex's N90 turbine will be installed in Northern Ireland

Nordex will supply its N90 2.5MW turbines to the Brockaghboy project in County Londonderry, in the west of the country.

Installation is due to begin in 2017, and the manufacturer will service them for ten years, Nordex said.

The turbines will be installed on 80-metre tubular steel towers at the site, which has average wind speeds of 9m/s.

TCI Renewables has a 200MW portfolio in the UK, mostly in Northern Ireland.
