Siemens has been contracted to supply 23 SWT-2.3-93 turbines to the Blackcraig Hill onshore project in Dumfries and Galloway.
Blue Energy previously used Siemens 2.3MW turbines at its 20.7MW Middlewick site in Essex, southeast England. Middlewick was completed in 2014.
Siemens said the site is exposed to strong and consistent winds from the Irish Sea.
"We are delighted to be working with Siemens again. Both the proven performance of the G2 platform and the specific characteristics of the site itself made the SWT-2.3-93 the clear choice for us," said Blue Energy CEO Christopher Dean.
In November, Siemens won the contract to supply its 2.3MW turbine to the 50.6MW Ewe Hill project also in Dumfries and Galloway, developed by ScottishPower Renewables.
