Vestas will deliver 56 V117-3.3MW turbines to the San Juan project in Atacama.
Delivery is expected in the first quarter of next year, with commissioning due by the end of 2016. Vestas will also service the turbines for five years.
In May, the manufacturer acknowledged the deal was under discussion, following rumours in the market.
Vestas said it was obligated to make an announcement under Danish financial market laws. However, at the time it declined to give further details until the order was firm and unconditional.
Last year, the firm received 202MW of orders in Chile including the first order in the Americas for its V126-3.3MW turbine. Developer Rame Energy ordered the turbine for its Punta Chrome project due online next year.
Year to-date, Vestas said it had taken orders totalling 3.6GW.
