Senvion will supply 17 MM92 2.05MW turbines to the Goole Fields II project in East Riding, Yorkshire. Senvion will also service the turbines for five years, with the option to extend.
The project is an extension to RWE's existing 32.8MW Goole Fields wind farm. The added turbines will increase the development to 67MW and are due to be installed in the autumn of this year.
Senvion previously supplied the Goole Fields I project with 2.05MW turbines, which came online in September 2014.
Last month, RWE also contracted Senvion to supply its MM82 2MW turbines to the Batsworthy Cross project, in southwest England.
According to “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç's data division, “uåX˜äŠÊ˜·³Ç Intelligence, Senvion has installed around 90MW in the UK for RWE.
